Zen Broadband - Buying additional capacity

Aim of this article:

This article provides instructions for buying additional download capacity for products with a usage allowance using the purchase Wizard linked to from the Customer Portal at: http://portal.zen.co.uk/ and the usage notification e-mails received at 50%, 75% and 90% usage.

Ordering additional usage:

To purchase additional usage allowance follow the instructions in the Related Article "Zen ADSL - Viewing Usage" to access your current usage information.  See the link at the bottom of this page to access this article.

Once on the usage page click the link Purchase additional download capacity.

Click Start Wizard to begin the process.

Click Next.

Check the details provided to ensure you are ordering additional capacity for the correct account.  Once you are satisfied the information is correct click Next.

Now select the amount of additional capacity you wish to purchase, up to a maximum of 50GB.  Once done, click Next.

NOTE: If additional capacity is required you will need to follow the Wizard again to place a separate order.

NOTE: Prices shown above are current for Zen Broadband services with a usage allowance (provided after 15th Aug 2006 until present). These prices vary on different products and may be subject to future revision. The Wizard will always show the current download usage prices for your product.

Now select your payment method and click Next.

Enter the details for your chosen payment method and click Next.

You will be presented with a summary of your order information.  Check this information carefuly to ensure it is correct. 

You can enter an Order Reference on this screen, which will allow you to easily find this order in the "My Services" list on the Customer Portal.  You can also choose to receive an E-mail Invoice, and specify an Alternative E-mail Address for that invoice to be sent to instead of your default e-mail address, along with confirmation of your capacity order.

Click Back if you need to change any details, or Cancel to cancel the capacity order.  If you are satisfied the information is correct click Finish to confirm the order - you will be billed for the amount specified and the capacity will be added to your usage bank.

Click Close to close the Wizard.

Additional purchased capacity will appear on the usage pages with the label "Usage bank".
