Installing the Firefox Usage Checker client

This article is designed to guide users through the installation of the Firefox Usage Checker client.
Installing the Checker
Open the Firefox browser and go to the following URL;
http://www.zen.co.uk/Broadband/zenbroadband.aspx?page=10938#firefox
Then click on the download link Firefox Add-on

As this is the first time you have visited this site you will need to allow content to be added from this page by adding the site to the Allowed Sites list.

Click Edit Options in the top right hand side of the screen to open the Allowed Sites list.

Enter tools.zensupport.co.uk into the Address of web site field, if not already entered.
Click Allow. This will add tools.zensupport.co.uk to the Allowed Sites - Add-ons Installation list. Click Close.

Now that the site has been added we can continue with the installation.
To continue click Latest Version.

The software installation window will pop up asking you if you wish to install the following application.
To continue click Install Now.

To complete the installation click Restart Firefox.

Once Firefox restarts you will be required to enter your Portal username and password.
Once you have done this click OK.

Having correctly entered your information the application will then go and fetch your current usage information.

The add-on will now permanently display your usage in the lower right corner of the firefox window. Your usage will be automatically updated every hour or by opening a new window. You can manually update the Usage Checker by clicking it.

Hovering over the Usage Checker will display further information on your usage.

Right clicking the usage viewer will allows you to refresh the data, alter the username and password for the portal sign in by clicking Settings. Clicking Buy more usage or About Zen Usage Viewer will open a new browser window taking you to the Zen portal where you can purchase additional usage or find out more about the usage checker.
